Disclaimer #1: This mod is by no means original. It's just the normal NF mod, but discussed in extreme detail for new people who, say, don't know what an air restrictor is.

Disclaimer #2: Sorry for the bad pics, I had to take them with some crappy "Kids Cam Show And Share Creativity Camera" thing.

Materials Needed
--Philips head screwdriver
--X-acto knife or pocket knife
--hot glue gun
--old dart
--brass, crayola barrel, or PVC/CPVC (optional)
--Epoxy (optional)

There it is from the outside.

And there's the insides.

First, unscrew the gun. If you have the latest edition (yellow and grey), it's going to be extremely hard to open. Just get the biggest screwdriver that will fit (or maybe even one that's bigger) and push as hard as you possibly can. I meant that. Push as hard as you can and take it one turn at a time. you do not want to strip these screws. Once you have it open, you should see this:

That's the plunger assembly. Unscrew it (the push hard rule doesn't apply to these) and take it apart. There is a rectangular thing with a spring on it near the back; DON'T LOSE THE SPRING!!! You need that for the gun to work. now take apart the plunger assembly. you should see these:

They are the thingy that holds the air restrictor, the circle with the barrel post, and the air restrictor with it's spring, respectively. Trash the AR and spring. Take your knife and cut the little progs that hold on the barrel post and the air restrictor holder to their circles. Then cut a little piece of your ratty dart so that it fits on top of the screw on the plunger (the long rod with a black thing on the end) and hot glue it on. Now put the assembly back together. Here is a pic of the plunger, cut-off barrel post, and plastic circles:

Now, if you're replacing the barrel, cut the barrel material to four inches. take that and hot glue (Epoxy is better) it to the plunger assembly.

Wrap electrical tape around the cracks in the assembly. Now screw the gun together and you're done.
